During 1998-2001, he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering of UC-Davis, and taught courses on electric circuits,
electronics, and signals and systems. He also served as a post-doctoral
researcher in the same department between September and December 2001. During
2002, he was a member of the technical staff at Flarion Technologies, NJ, USA.
He was a research fellow at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique et
Systèmes Aléatoires (IRISA), in Rennes, France in 2003, before joining Boğaziçi
University faculty.
Research interests: Broadband and ultra-wideband wireless communications; signal processing for communications, space-time, space-frequency, turbo processing, precoding; detection and estimation; error correcting coding and coded modulation. |
