He is a faculty member at the Department of Electrical and Electronics
Engineering of Bogaziçi University since 2003. His PhD thesis was on
Spread Doppler Clutter Mitigation on Over-the-Horizon Radar. During his
studies in Duke University, he discovered relations of minimum variance
beamforming and maximum likelihood source localization theory and
applied these relationships in OTH-radar to suppress spread-Doppler
clutter as well as passive source tracking in uncertain shallow water
environments. He has been teaching courses on statistical signal
processing, spectral estimation, data compression, optical fiber
communications, complex variables, etc. since 2003.
His research interests include statistical signal and sensor array processing,
wireless positioning, blind source separation, intrusion detection systems. |
