The George Washington University was created by the Congress of the United States in 1821. Today, GWU is the largest institution of higher learning in the capital of the USA. THE SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCE

The School of Engineering and Applied Science offers an extensive program of undergraduate and graduate education and research through its departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Engineering Management and Systems Engineering, and Computer Science. In addition to the undergraduate degrees of Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts, the departments offer course work leading to the graduate degrees of Master of Science, Master of Engineering Management, Doctor of Science and to the professional degrees of Engineer and Applied Scientist.
