Admission to the program requires a B.S. degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering, computer engineering, computer science or a closely related field.

Applicants are expected to have a strong background in university level mathematics and physics and they are assumed to have proficiency in English as demonstrated by TOEFL. If you have and questions as to whether or not you qualify for the program, please fill in the online pre-application form and submit it. Pre-application is free and is the best way to see your eligibility to the program. Your pre-application will be responded to immediately.

HOW TO APPLY?

Prospective students interested in applying for admission to the program are requested to complete the preliminary application form and submit it to the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Boğaziçi University by facsimile  (fax number 212 287 2465). Alternatively, prospective students may also apply online .Please note that pre-application does not involve a fee and is used to screen students  who will not have a chance during the formal application procedure. All prospective students who submit pre-applications will be requested to meet with a faculty advisor for an in-depth exploration of their professional interests and academic preparation. Based on the results of the interview, students who are considered to be likely candidates for admission are requested to submit a formal application for admission. Application for admission requires a non-refundable application fee of USD 55. The application must include transcripts of all previous university-level study, three letters of recommendation from individuals qualified to judge the candidate's professional standing, and a personal statement of purpose.
